As a modern, friendly and successful hotel chain, Inntel Hotels wants to profile its self as a social aware company, focussing on a healthy lifestyle. Inntel Hotels gives extra attention to a healthy lifestyle of its hotel guests, but also to a healthy lifestyle of its employees. For those employees who realize the slogan 'You'll be surprised' every day, Inntel Hotels wanted to do something extra.

About the Inntel Running Team

That's why Inntel Hotels launched its own running team at the start of 2011: the Inntel Running Team. The kick-off took place on March 6th at Inntel Hotels Resort Zutphen and was done by TV host Matthijs van Nieuwkerk.

The Inntel Running Team consists of 75 employees from all hotel locations. They receive a proper running outfit and special guidance from the Achmea Health Center. Tickets for various running events are also provided by Inntel Hotels.

Events

After a preparation period, the Inntel Running Team now shines during various running events. Every member runs its own distance: it's all about the participation - the team spirit - and not about the performance!

The Inntel Running Team participates (and participated) in the following events:

• April 10th: ABN AMRO Marathon Rotterdam
• June 19th: Adidas Ladiesrun
• September 18th: Dam tot Damloop
