Maritime Museum

The next-door neighbour of Inntel Hotels Rotterdam Centre is the Maritime Museum.

The Rotterdam Maritime Museum was founded in 1874 and is the oldest maritime museum in the Netherlands. The foundations of the collection were laid by Prince Hendrik in 1852. Nowadays, the collection encompasses more then 500.000 objects, like maritime items, ship models and print work.

Besides this collection, you can visit the imposing museum ship “De Buffel” and you can meet the Rotterdam harbour at the multi media exposition MainPort Live.
